About Me

I studied at McGill University where I earned my Masters of Social Work degree in 2014. I have several years of experience providing a range of clinical services, including individual and group psychotherapy, as well as family therapy for children, adolescents and their families.

In my practice, I draw on several therapeutic approaches such as Family Systems Theory (FST), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I use a process-oriented method and an attachment framework to understand, change, and strengthen the communication and connections among family members..

I strongly believe in using a collaborative approach to therapy where I work alongside you to create the changes in your life you want to see.

My Philosophy

  • I cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you will feel respected, understood and empowered.

  • You are an active agent in your own journey! I designed my collaborative approach to therapy with that in mind. I will work with you so you can feel confident and capable of making meaningful changes in your life.

  • When I offer therapy for children, I incorporate playing games, as well as exercises and drawing activities, that help establish a space where they can express their challenges, worries, and concerns. This also supports our ability to engage and work together to develop skills. Additionally, I focus on actively involving parents by supporting them to identify and implement changes they want to see in their family and relationship with their child.

Throughout my experience as a social worker, I’ve formulated a strong philosophy that has led to plenty of success for my clients.
